John Wick Chapter 4 is the fourth installment in the John Wick series. Directed by Chad Stahelski and starring Keanu Reeves as John Wick, this movie is an action-packed thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
The movie excels in its incredible cinematography and superb acting by Keanu Reeves and the supporting cast. The choreographed scenes are seamless and will leave you breathless. The movie also features some of the best acting by a team together that I’ve seen in a long time. The chemistry between Reeves and his co-stars is palpable, and they work together seamlessly to create an unforgettable experience.
The supporting cast includes some of the biggest names in Hollywood, such as Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, and Scott Adkins. Each actor brings their unique talents to the table and helps to elevate the movie to new heights.
However, while many see this movie for its gratuitous violence and absurd amount of depth, it lets too much go into that fantasy which takes away from the gravity of the story. Some parts seem to be cut down, and if you haven’t seen the other Wick movies, you will feel lost from the word go.
The movie also suffers from a few flaws. While John Wick doesn’t lose a digit in this movie, it’s a reminder of his previous injury which is reflected in my rating of 7.5 digits out of 10. While this may seem like a small detail, it does detract from the overall experience. Additionally, some parts of the movie seem to be cut down or rushed, which can make it difficult to follow at times.
Despite these flaws, John Wick Chapter 4 is still an enjoyable experience that will keep you entertained from start to finish. The movie breaks too far away from reality at times but still manages to keep you engaged with its fast-paced action scenes and incredible performances by Keanu Reeves and his co-stars.
Keanu Reeves continues to shine as one of Hollywood’s biggest stars with his portrayal of John Wick. He brings a level of intensity and emotion to the character that is unmatched by any other actor in Hollywood today. His performance in this movie is no exception and will leave you wanting more.
